This comes from Chapter 6 of part five of my book. You'll notice the b\w iteration has a rather confusing composition. There's no areas of rest, so I tried on the later version to compose it with some areas of simplicity to balance out the crazy details in the other areas. (thanks for the suggestions, Angie) The character you see in the B\W version would have been nice to include, but I couldn't find a way to have her there without ruining the composition. there's already too much to draw the eye.

The contrast and range in values is well done :).
Stuff is good ... so busy with Kites. I don't get to work on my portfolio, but stuff is getting done. :)
How is the Pixar? Everything you imagined? Any suggestions for shader work? What do they like?
